Way to summit of Everest.

Way to summit of Everest are thirteen way. For the expedition is possible to do from Nepal and China. From Nepal is more adventures to do Everest expedition. Some part of Everest is very danger. Way to Everest is by flight from the Kathmandu to Lukla. Airport is in Lukla. It is 2850 meter of altitude. It takes one and half hours by flight. From Lukla to Everest Bas camp, it takes seven days to get there. If it is necessary to do acclimatisation then it takes more days. It is necessary to do it. everything what expedition need ,should have to take from Kathmandu but some equipments can higher in Namecha Bazzar. It depends on claimers. Expedition or claimer need very good quality equipment. If so, do not have that it is very danger for the life. All claimers need mediation too. If it is possible, should be Doctor in the grope. On the way available many lodges. It is not necessary to do camping trek. In the lodges is very good and warm. All claimers should have more experience of the climbing of mountains. If so, it should be very helpful for the expedition. From Nepal side is more adventures and more expensive too. All claimers should have to pay for the Government tax or royalties. In the life more adventure, more enjoy. If there is no adventure, there is not fun and no enjoy. From Bas camp to camp one, all the way is on the glacier and camp one is danger of avalanches so most of claimer do not want to stay at camp one. They want to stay camp two. It is very good and safe side. There is less chance of avalanches. It needs to have oxygen but less. Claimers can make seven camp but dispense of the health of them. Some of them can make only four camp to the summit of Everest. It is very necessary to do acclimatisation. From china is very cheaper than Nepal and it is very easy to make expedition of Everest. In Nepal side is on foot from Lukla to Bas camp but from Tibet side is till Bas camp is possible transportation. It is very necessary enough Oxygen with them. Every bottle is six kilograms. Every one should have to carry by them self. It is better to carry extra Oxygen. If they have and it is not problem for them. Every step Oxygen goes less and less so that they need more and more. All cloths should be wind proof and Jacket and sleeping bag should be down jacket, down sleeping bag. sunscreen sun glass and globs. It should be very high qualities. If a small mistake makes big problem of life and for whole life so that all equipment should be high qualities and very reliable and secure site.

How to right a capsized raft when water rafting?

One of the ways that you can right a capsized raft is to swim toward it, climb up onto the raft and then flip it over using your paddle or a flip-line. The hardest part is getting up onto the raft. With self-bailers that is a little easier because the drain holes on the sides you can use to help pull yourself up onto the raft. Once you’re up there, you tuck the t-grip of the paddle under the raft, check the line and then lean back and flip it over. Once you have the raft right side up, then the guides use the handles on the sides of the raft to push themselves back up into the raft and then help any struggling guests or crew members get back into the raft and then you can paddle on downstream. So this maneuver can be done on the fly as you work your way downstream and is a common and effective method of righting a capsized raft on a larger volume river where swimming to shore really isn’t an option.

How to learn and avoid rock obstacles when water rafting?

When helping other river users or other members of your trip, you need to prioritize what you are going for first. You always go for people before gear regardless of what’s near you. Get the people back in the boat and then go for the gear. Gear is replaceable, people aren’t, so if you see the rescue situation about to happen, blow your whistle hard, and then paddle, paddle, paddle, go for the people first and then go for the gear.

How to pull someone into a boat when water rafting?

During your trip talk you are going to cover how to self-rescue, and also how to pull other crew members back into the boat. Often it you are doing a pretty challenging section of the river, its good to practice that in flat water before you get going so that your crew gets a better idea of how it works and how easy it is to do. So it usually only takes one person to self-rescue, to rescue one swimmer, you look in their face, you grab them by the pfd right by their shoulders and then you use your legs, you fall over backwards and they come in on top of you. It is a pretty effective, pretty quick way for you to rescue one another. Then you take your seat, make sure everyone is situated and then head on downstream. Often, if you don’t practice while you are out there on the river what will happen then is the crew will all wait for somebody else to self-rescue, to rescue that person or probably worse, during the rapid is two or three people will jump to one side of the raft to save one person and that sets you too often in a situation to flip or a situation where you have more than one person swimming because you set a low side of the raft and then two or three people are swimming at one time. It is usually better to have the guide stay in the back of the boat and continue guiding and the rest of the crew listening to those guiding commands and instructions so that you guys don’t end up getting in the situation where you all end up swimming.

how to swim in moving water when rafting?

There are two types of swimming on the river, one is defensive swimming and one is aggressive swimming. With defensive swimming what you are really doing is laying on your back, feet downstream and looking for help, sort of getting yourself oriented to the river, trying to figure out where you are and then getting yourself comfortably there. Defensive swimming tends to be for novice and guests that are real, or not real familiar with water. A person swimming defensively is looking to be rescued by somebody else rather than really taking the initiative and rescuing themselves. The aggressive swimming, aggressive water swimming is where the guide, or an experienced, white water person is taking control of their situation and swimming aggressively, from one side of the river to the other, either to the quickest point on shore or to avoid, a certain obstacle while you are out there.

How to scout rivers for rafting?

Scouting from shore is probably the most conservative way to run a river. you understand that there are some large river features on the route that you want to check out before you run them, then scouting from shore is the best way to do that. Often guide will tell you some river features upstream of the large rapid so that you have a better understanding where to take out, so that you can walk downstream and check it out. One of the beauties of rafting is that you’re also with a group of other people so scouting from shore give you an opportunity to talk to fellow raft guides so you can decide which is the best route to take and which are the best rapids to run and the best rapids to walk around. Also you have the ability to split your group. Some folks will be comfortable running certain rapids, other folks won’t and scouting gives you the opportunity to pull over to shore, give your crew a rest, give you the opportunity to figure out the line you want to take. It also give you an opportunity to let your crew see where they’re going to go and make an educated, um, educated decision whether or not they want to run that rapid or not. Also scouting from shore gives you the ability to walk down beyond the rapid and set up safety, you can stop downstream, you can run a rapid one boat at a time, you can have one guide downstream perhaps with guests setting up safety so that you run that rapid as conservatively as possible. It’s always recommended that if you’re on a class three or above rapid that you scout it the first few time you run it, so that you know exactly what you’re doing and where you’re going.

River reading strategies for rafting.

After planning your trip and you have a pretty good understanding of what to expect on the river, understanding also that the river changes continually and necessarily updated. So things changes from day to day, so you always need to make sure as you’re working your way downstream, you lift your vision and you anticipate and figure out what’s going on before it surprises you. One of the ways to do this is to river read. You can scout downstream, figure out your route and sort of plan how to get there. Also if there’s an area where it’s hard for you to see downstream you can pull to one side of the river or the other, stop in an eddy and scout from the eddy. You can eddy hop your way downstream, it’s a very conservative way to work your way downstream and to scout from the river. That way you’ll never too surprised as you work your way down. you can come down a section of river that you are super comfortable with, real familiar with and there can be a big Stone down in the middle of the river and that’s something that wasn’t there the day before. You need to be able to see that before it’s upon you, so again raising your vision, understanding that the river changes continually is a great way for you to approach your descent downstream.

River rapid classification rafting.

When planning a trip you need to decide what sort of classification of water you’re comfortable with doing and also then research the trip and what sort of classification you expect to see out there. Rivers are classed between one and six, most of the time you’re hovering around two, three and four. Down to my right here you have a class two section of white water and off to my left you have a class one section, pretty easy moving water. Class three starts to get a little more complicated, requires a little more skill from the raft guide and the crew and there are limits options for negotiating your way down a class three rapid. Class four rapids are more difficult, the risk of injury is higher, you have to have a better understanding of how to maneuver your raft around and be fairly experienced. Class five is really expert only, you have a serious risk of injury, very limited options on where to go on the river and the routes to take and then class six is supposed to be un-runable, class six, serious risk of injury or death, typically not run from a rafting standpoint recreationally

Knowing river features and dynamics for rafting.

It’s great to understand a little bit about river dynamics and river features so that you’re able to use them to your advantage when you work your way downstream. Taking a river rescue course will also enable you to get a better understanding of how to use these features to your advantage and also which features to look out for and which features to fear. On the river you commonly have a lot of sections where there are wave trains. Wave trains for rafting are a lot of fun. While you’re in a wave train you also need to be looking out for upstream v and downstream. With an upstream that is often determined by a rock in your path. You need to make sure that you understand that and that you avoid those rocks. Downstream V point in the direction that you want to go, so that you can have the maximum amount of fun. Also on the river there are eddies. An eddy is an area of water that is slowly moving upstream, it can actually be moving quite rapidly upstream. It’s often caused by a shoreline feature or a rock in the river that interrupts the flow of the river. Eddies can be real useful to you as a raft guide, or as a rafter, for slowing down or stopping, you can use an eddy as an area to drive into and stop so that you can wait to bring the rest of your trip downstream or just to take a break. Also it’s a great way to scout from the river using an eddy to pull over and stop. Rafting again, is organized chaos, things happen very quickly and the river is sort of a conveyor belt though that chaos and eddies are an opportunity for you to step off that chaos conveyor and take a little break and look around and see what’s going on. There are holes and hydraulics out there that are fun to play in, you need to understand a little bit about which holes are appropriate for you to go in depending on the size of your raft and the type of trip your crew is looking for. There are some holes that are quite big, quite sticky and quite complicated to get out of, and can be quite life threatening. There are also other holes that are small, playful and fun, and it’s a shame to miss an opportunity to play on the river when it passes you by, so having an understanding of what’s appropriate and what’s in-appropriate is something that you can get from a river rescue class.

Safety gear for rafting.

Rafting is one of the adventure sport. If you do not careful about this, it might be dangerous for all so that you have to pay attention. That's way it need safety gear for rafting.

How to do paddle signals for raft?

Paddle signals are an important way to communicate from the lead raft to the trip leader or from the trip leader back to the sweep. So coming up with some basic paddle signals are advantageous to your group. Some of the commonly recognized paddle signals would be a go, which is a paddle straight up, also you can do that with just your hand, which would be a hand straight up, this means go. Stop, which is an important paddle stroke to have means this, paddle across the river, you can also do without a paddle with your arms out like this, this means stop. With rafting you always point to the direction you want to go so, if you want to go to the river right, you paddle to the river right, if you want to head to the opposite direction turn your paddle to the opposite direction. You have an emergency, they tend to spin the paddle in the air and use a whistle and blow the whistle to get people’s attention. This means you have an emergency situation on the river. Beyond those simple paddling commands you also can come up with your own group paddling commands so that you’re able to communicate with one another. This means I need a first aid kit, sort of commonly used throughout the area, there are other paddling commands like come, or slow down, that you can use, depending on how big a group you, you’re out there with and how often you paddle together will pretty much determine how complicated your paddle signals will become.

Group size and for communication.

One to two group is not easy to make a rafting trip. It is better into big group and you able to lead raft. The lead raft should be the trip leader that person sets the pace, has a better understanding of water rafting also better understanding of the river section that about to go on. You should have a sweep raft. The sweep raft is second most experienced raft guide on the river. The sweep rafts job is to make sure every body down stream of them is doing okay and fine. The sweep raft tends to have first aid kit. It should bring down first aid kid to the incident. If you have several group and you can split them to make easy and you need every part leader and sweep. If you do not have leader and sweep for each part you can make communication system. They can often be a big distance between the last and first raft so you can have communication between those two rafts is very important to touch each other. It must be not big distance between raft, the lead raft and second raft. Try to raft together, stay in an organized trip and never pass leader raft and never fall behind the sweep. If you together then it is so easy to take care and able to help.

Basic river safety tips for Rafting

Rafting guide have a responsibility to his crew to understand exactly what's going to be out in front of them. When they plan a trip to head down stream. You need to understand what short of river features. Also you need to understand moving water, regardless of class has a phenomenal amount of power and so there are areas of the river that looks calm and harmless that actually have the ability to make your day complicated and dangerous to your self and your crew and so you also need to know that things change on the river all the time certain sections of the river that quite comfortable if you know about amount of water and power. You are always responsible for your crew and they are looking you for their safety.

How to organize a Rfting?

Before starting a water rafting trip you should always share as much information with guests and crew. It is very important to give information. You need to make sure that your helmet and snug. Some time floats yo over your face that time is very hard to see, where we are and what direction you are supposed to swim in.Your paddle is probably the must important part of your gear, This determines whether or not you are able to keep yourselves in the boat and how to keep your body balance in the boat. Keep your both feet inside the raft. You supported with your feet in the bottom and your paddle and pushing the raft where it needs to go. If some one fall out of the boat that time you need help from the other. All team must be experience about how to swim into river water. You need rope it called throw rope. some time someone fall into the river or out of the boat that time it is very important to rescue or get into boat.

When to go rafting?

When we go for Rafting. It should choose right rime if it is not right time it is very danger for rafters. We have two season in Nepal. Nepal's climate is dictated by the monsoon which arrives in June July,August and usually finish in late September. In this time very heavy rains in monsoon time that floods the rivers so most of people would not want to be rafting and kayaking at that time. Rafting season for tourists and for peak is probably October through November, the monsoon is over, every things very green, river are moderately high but dropping temperatures are warm and skies are clear with fine mountain views. The only disadvantage with this time is big season for tourist because of it is Rafting, peak and trekking season so it is very hard to get airline reservations and you can not be sure when the monsoon will finish.
The winter months from late December through to early February are very cold and river levels will be low. From late February through to early April is reliably low, air temperature warm, rivers warm and blue water. The disadvantage is often hazy. You could not see the mountains.

Sightseeing IN NEPAL

For over forty years, Nepal has been an extremely fascinating destination for travelers, scholars, and researchers. For those interested in culture, the Kathmandu valley, is endowed with seven World Heritage sites. This valley was divided into three kingdoms less than a century ago. It now contains countless architectural monuments, and vestiges of varied cultural and religious traditions.
In other chapters we explain about the adventure Nepal provides, here we detail some of the more popular gentle sides of a holiday in our Kingdom including the Kathmandu Valley itself and other major settlements of interest in Nepal. Same like in city, you can go to pokhara, chituwan national park and Lumbini. Lumbini is birth place of the Buddha. It is a history place of the Buddha. It is very important of the religion place of the Buddhism.

about safety of rafting

White water rafting can be a dangerous sport, especially if basic safety precautions are not observed. Both commercial and private trips have seen their share of injuries and fatalities, though private travel has typically been associated with greater risk. Depending on the area, legislated safety measures may exist for rafting operators. These range from certification of outfitters, rafts, and raft leaders, to more stringent regulations about equipment and procedures. It is generally advisable to discuss safety measures with a rafting operator before signing on for a trip. The equipment used and the qualifications of the company and raft guides are essential information to be considered.
Like most outdoor sports, rafting in general has become safer over the years. Expertise in the sport has increased, and equipment has become more specialized and increased in quality. As a result the difficulty rating of most river runs has changed. which has swallowed whole expeditions in the past, leaving only fragments of boats. In contrast, it is now run safely by commercial outfitters hundreds of times each year with relatively untrained passengers.
Risks in white water rafting stem from both environmental dangers and from improper behavior. Certain features on rivers are inherently unsafe and have remained consistently so despite the passage of time. These would include "keeper hydraulics",undercut rocks, and of course dangerously high waterfalls. Rafting with experienced guides is the safest way to avoid such features. Even in safe areas, however, moving water can always present risks—such as when a swimmer attempts to stand up on a rocky riverbed in strong current, risking foot entrapment. Irresponsible behavior related to rafting while intoxicated has also contributed to many accidents.
One of the most simple ways to avoid injury while out of a raft, is to swim to an Eddy (a calm spot behind a rock in the water which the current disperses around) to avoid being taken downstream.
To combat the illusion that rafting is akin to an amusement park ride, and to underscore the personal responsibility each rafter faces on a trip, rafting outfitters generally require customers to sign waiver forms indicating understanding and acceptance of potential serious risks. Rafting trips often begin with safety presentations to educate customers about problems that may arise.
White water rafting is often played for the adrenaline rush and this often becomes a problem for people and their own safety. White water rafting accidents have occurred but are not common.
Due to this the overall risk level on a rafting trip with experienced guides using proper precautions is low. Thousands of people safely enjoy raft trips every year

Rafting in river.

Rafting is also one of the popular sport. In Nepal there are many rivers. Like Trisuli river, sunkosi river, kaligandaki river, Marsengdi river and Dudhakosi river. You can enjoy and you can have fun. It should be camping, it means tent, food, cook and guide. Treatment of AMS

The treatment is go down, go sown and go down below 3000 meter. There is no magic altitude which you should descend. Go down to the place where you were comfortable before. This is usually about 300 meter or more.
Stay where you are and do not ascend if you have moderate AMS. If one is badly struck, we could only buy time for him/her to go down by the use of inject able or oral steroid (dexamethasone at the dose of 4 to 8 mg 6 hourly), Oxygen, diamox, pressure bag (Gamow bag) and diuretics (drug which makes one pee).Nifedipine, a drug used commonly in hyertension could be used in a setting of HAPE at the dose of 10mg three to four times per day.
Diamox should be avoided in people who are allertic to sulfa drugs. The most common side effect is tingling of the hands and feet and the eyes and the lips. some might experience that the aerated drinks taste flat. People may wake up several times in the night because of the diuretic effect. Gastritis is the commonest side effect with dexamethasone and can be effectively tackled with the use of drugs like ranitidine. Reemerge, all these only buy time. One still needs to go down, go sown and go down. If it is severe AMS, it needs rescue right that time.

Helth security

Health security is mean important. If every one do not feel fine and you can not enjoy you trip. In Himalayan place is very low oxygen. when you start to trekking to Himalaya area. You need Medicine security. It is very important subject. In high place over 3000meters. It goes low oxygen and it is not enough for the body. If oxygen is less for the health and it goes think blood or gets sick hemoglobin of the blood. Blood circulation is not easy to whole body so it will be altitude sickness. In that time need medicine help.
altitude sickness symptoms may manifest at around 2500meters or higher. According to the lake Louise criteria, headache at high altitude and the presence of nausea, dizziness, fatigue, or any combination of these, constitutes AMS. Differing gradations of the symptoms deterine the severity of the illness. HAPE and HACE is diagnosed in a patient with AMS symptoms with either ataxia as determined by the tandem gait test or mental status changes, or if AMS symptoms are absent but both ataxia and mental status changes are noted. Manly there are three kind of sickness.
(a) Mild ams (b) moderate ams (c) severe ams

Paragliding

Paragliding is one of the popular adventure trip in Nepal. It is west part of Nepal. One of the popular place is Pokhara. A lot of tourist go to in Pokhara and there is a nice place which is over 2100m. high. That place called sarangkot. It is one of the popular place to see sunrise view from there. It is possible to stay one night over lodge. Early in the morning see sunrise view and then can fly with paragliding to pokhara. This place is very popular for view of the mountain and all around the nature with phewa lake. Sarangkot is very good for all king of view from there and it is nice environment place. Paragliding is a recreational and competitive flying sport. A paragliding is a free-flying, foot-launched aircraft. The pilot sits in a harness suspended below a fabric wing, whose shape is formed by its suspension lines and the pressure of air entering vents in the front of the wing.

Cultural Exchange

Historically, Nepal Mandala has been a focal point of the Nepalese cultural evolution, preservation and promotion. It is noteworthy that the Nepal Mandala dwellers have admired and composed literature in Nepal Bhasha as well as in several other languages like sanskrit, Maithili, Bengali and Hindi. A good example is an adoption of the Maithili culture for its rich literature, music and art. The daphas, guthis and bhajans of the Mandala communities have inherited the Maithili culture in the forms of traditional psalms, dances and plays. Scholars are happy to find several hundreds handwritten books in Maithili language that are preserved in the archives of the Aasha saphu kuthi, Kathmandu. Today, culture specialists refer to the Mandala especially Bhaktapur as a potential pilgrim for the Maithili community.
Nepal Mandala has also been known for the safe haven of the cultural heritage that were threatened with the powers that did no tolerate. In 444 Nepal sambat, king Hri singh Dev brought the goddess Taleju Bhawani to Nepal Mandala with a hope that this fertile land irrigated with the Bagmati river system would preserve the traditions and that the goddess would bless the people with prosperity and security. In the 18th century, king Ranjeet Malla of Bhaktapur presented his traditional dance of Bhairavnath the king of Kaski. Historically, Nepal Mandala has not only disseminated its rich cultural heritage to the surrounding kingdoms but has also attracted peoples from various places to participate in festival, rituals as well as constructions.
Also today, a significant number of spectators participate in traditional festivals and ceremonies such as Ghoda jatra, Indra jatra, Bisket jatra, Bhoto dekhaune jatra, Phulpati Bhitryaune etc. These are the fine examples of appreciation, ownership and pride shown by the Nepalese on their heritage. In Nepal two biggest festival they are Bada Dasain and Bhaitika

Cultural heritage

Culturally, Nepal is among the most diversified countries in the world. A visible indicator is the spoken language carrying indigenous knowledge on natural resources and life styles. According to the summer institute of linguistics, there are 125 languages spoken in Nepal of which one has become extinct.
IUCN, Nepal and Nepal Heritage society have documented 1,254 heritage sites in 72 districts outside the Kathmandu valley. According to the 1975 survey, the kathmandu valley holds 888 heritage sites of global significance. Apart from these, there are numerous temples and monuments in the valley.
Recognizing the spectacular natural heritage and refined cultural heritage of Nepal, UNESCO has listed ten spots in Nepal as the world Heritage sites, two natural and eight cultural. The two natural sites are the Sagarmatha National park listed in 1979 and the Royal chitwan National park listed in 1984.The seven monumental zones of the Kathmandu valley were recognized as the cultural world Heritage sites in 1979. They are pashupatinath, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath, Changu Narayan temple complexes and the three historical palaces of bhaktapur, Lalitpur and Kathmandu cities. In fact, the kathmandu valley with towns and settlements spread over the fertile alluvial lands irrigated by the perennial springs and streams and surrounded by the woody Hills form the integral parts of the heritage sites. With towns capes and temple skylines, live cultural activities like festivals and ceremonies are part of every day and night. Intricate arts and agricultural practices, language and literature enriched through ages and generations are ingredients of a living heritage. A striking characteristic of the valley communities is a harmony and tolerance between two major religious faiths, Hinduism and Buddhism.
Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, has also been included in the world Heritage sites. Lumbini is a living example of human civilization that established the philosophy of peace and harmony not only among humankind but also with the nature. It also offers nesting ground for the endangered species like saras crane.
